The Heat Trapper door differs from the standard Baffle door, which has been highly praised and demonstrated by Some Dads Cook on YouTube. Specifically designed for 16" or larger pizzas, the Heat Trapper enhances heating of the stone between the oven’s archway and mantle, focusing on the final 3-4 feet of the stone. For typical wood-fired pizzas, the regular Baffle door remains ideal. It is smaller, lighter, more practical for everyday use, and also comes with an optional door holder.
